Fitting

Bra Fitting

Following the simple steps below will help you get the best fit from your bra.

Put the straps over the shoulders while bending forward slightly.
Place your breasts inside the cups while holding the bottom of the bra.
Fix the bra in place using the hooks.
Ensure the adjusters on each strap are level.

While bending forwards, hold the left strap with the left hand.
Hold the strap where it meets the apex of the cup to create some space between the bra and body.
Take the left breast in the right hand and move it towards the right shoulder, positioning it inside the left cup.
Repeat this process in the opposite direction for the right breast.
Adjust the bra so the top of the cups give a snug fit.

Straighten your body.
Adjust the length of the strap so that there is an allowance of one fingers’ width.
When adjusting the length of the strap, try and raise the strap without moving the bottom.
Repeat this process for the left breast.

Position the hooks so that they sit under the shoulder blades.
Check that the bra fits properly by bending and moving your body.

Check how your bust looks from the side by looking in a mirror.
For a beautiful bust line, we recommend adjusting the bra so the longest part of the breast (when measured from the side) sits half way between the shoulder and the elbow.
Points to Check
  • Are the breasts, back or sides of the body coming out of the bra
  • Are the cups to large
  • Are the cups to small
  • Do the cups dig into the skin
  • Is the back of the bra too small
  • Have the straps been properly adjusted

Girdle

Girdles are designed to accentuate the beautiful lines of the body.
They make the body appear slim by flattening the thighs and raising the hips.

Place both legs inside the girdle and pull the garment up to your waist.
Pull up the front and the back of the garment to give a snug fit.
Align the girdle so that the front and back of the garment are aligned with the center of the body.

Pull up the front of the girdle while pulling down the back.

Put your hand into the girdle and lift up your posterior.
Lift your outer thighs and any other area you would like to tone.

Adjust the waist.
Points to Check
  • Is the girdle too tight around the midriff
  • Are the hems digging into the skin
  • Is the waist straight (i.e. not folded in on its self)
